Goodreads: Every vampire has a destined lifeMate, a mate who is a perfect match. What happens if that perfect mate is stolen?
Katrina knows Eric is her destined mate, but her high school rival has other plans for Eric.
Twisting the most ancient of Sídhí laws, Clarisse steals Eric from Katrina with binding words, knowing Katrina can't fight back. Or can she?
Dreams of death dance in Katrina's head, because no one gets between a vampire and her true mate.
What I liked: 1) Katrina. Her emotions were all raw and right at the surface. I thought she was really well-developed, and written in such a way that anyone can empathize with her. 2) A really great opening. I was hooked from paragraph one with this story. When I start off curious about something, I know I'm going to be interested in the story. 3) The Sidhi world. There is so much complexity and creativity in this world that I am always ready to find out what's going to happen on the next page. 4) The tie-in to another story of Miz Cooper's that I really enjoyed. Characters from her novel Forbidden Temptation of A Vampire appear in this story, (read my review here) but you don't have to have read it to enjoy this novella.
What I didn't like: 1) The only complaint I have is that I wanted more. I almost feel like I wish I had a Sidhi history book so I could know more about the past of this world, what it's laws are, who lives there, how the families in power got that way...
Overall thoughts: This was definitely a fun story. The romance was real, and entertaining, with characters that were easy to relate to. I'd definitely recommend getting into Miz Cooper's Sidhi series as a light and fun read. Stolen is a great place to start if you want to ease your way in.
