First up, The Collector by Victoria Scott
He makes good girls...bad. Dante Walker is flippin’ awesome, and he knows it. His good looks, killer charm, and stellar confidence has made him one of hell’s best—a soul collector. His job is simple, weed through humanity and label those round rears with a big red good or bad stamp. Old Saint Nick gets the good guys, and he gets the fun ones. Bag-and-tag. Sealing souls is nothing personal. Dante’s an equal opportunity collector and doesn’t want it any other way. But he’ll have to adjust, because Boss Man has given him a new assignment: Collect Charlie Cooper’s soul within 10 days. Dante doesn’t know why Boss Man wants Charlie, nor does he care. This assignment means only one thing to him, and that’s a permanent ticket out of hell. But after Dante meets the quirky, Nerd Alert chick he’s come to collect—he realizes this assignment will test his abilities as a collector, and uncover emotions deeply buried.
That cover is flippin' awesome too! I can't wait to read this debut, but sadly, we'll have to wait until March 2013 to get it from Entangled Teen!
Secondly, released last night was the cover art to the third Heroes of Olympus book, The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan
In The Son of Neptune, Percy, Hazel, and Frank met in Camp Jupiter, the Roman equivalent of Camp Halfblood, and traveled to the land beyond the gods to complete a dangerous quest. The third book in the Heroes of Olympus series will unite them with Jason, Piper, and Leo. But they number only six—who will complete the Prophecy of Seven? The Greek and Roman demigods will have to cooperate in order to defeat the giants released by the Earth Mother, Gaea. Then they will have to sail together to the ancient land—Greece itself—to find the Doors of Death. What exactly are the Doors of Death? Much of the prophesy remains a mystery...
I love the Percy Jackson books, and feel like I've been waiting forever for this one! Release Date from Disney-Hyperion is October 2nd, 2012!

I've seen the first but I lovvve the second one. Nice reveals :)
ReplyDeleteI know, I love the covers for Rick Riordan's books. And I think this may be the last one of the series. I don't know what to do if that's the case! He just wrapped up The Kane Chronicles too! I hope he's working on something new!
