Waiting on Wednesday (90) - The Halloween 2013 Edition

Just because it's Halloween Time here on FCB, doesn't mean I'm giving up my Waiting on Wednesdays! Just making them a little...Halloween themed! In case you don't know, Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine. It highlights the *Halloweenish* books that we are most looking forward to in the coming months!

This week my WoW is...

Revealed by PC and Kristin Cast
Release Date: October 15th, 2013

The Vampyres are Back! I know that I have been hard on this series in past reviews, but I'm kind of hooked on it. I just have to know how it ends. This is probably one the longest running series that I've ever followed. And I did start to feel that it was starting to drag on and on. But guess what! There is an end in sight! Revealed is book 11, and book 12, Redeemed, will finish the series. As much as I've enjoyed it, I'm glad to see that there is an end coming.

So here is the summary from Goodreads: Drastically altered after her fall at the end of Hidden, Neferet is now more dangerous than ever—and her quest for vengeance will wreak havoc on humans, as well as Zoey and her friends. Chaos is loosed in Tulsa and the House of Night is blamed. Can Zoey stop Neferet in time to keep her anger from escalating to full-on war? Or will someone else have to step in to take the fall?

So what are y'all waiting on this spooky Wednesday? And don't forget to enter the First Trick or Treat Tuesday Giveaway for a copy of Victoria Scott's The Liberator!

  1. Ah, the good and the bad of long-running series... It can be great if the books are consistently awesome, but I totally understand the feeling of wanting closure after sticking with it for so long! I hope you really enjoy the last few books! :)

  12. I didn't realize that the series was finally coming to an end! I gave up a couple of books ago because it just wouldn't end, but I might go back to it once there's an end in sight.

  13. I've actually taken a long hiatus from this series and am glad to see that it's coming to an end. I might actually consider picking back up with the series again where I left off once this book releases since I now know there is an end in sight. :)
